Ok - so here I am trying to experiment with Pilot and I think I hosed our production reports. I cloned pilot to another VM, changed it’s name and static IP. To get REST services going, I need a different version of IIS that is on WinServer 2012, so I need to upgrade to Win Server 2012 R2 which then requires SQL 2014 or 2016 for Epicor support. Fine - got the OS upgraded to R2, then moved onto the SQL 2016 install.
Crap. Reports stopped working: “The version of the report server database is either in a format that is not valid, or it cannot be read. The found version is ‘173’. The expected version is ‘162’.”
Is it possible that installing SQL 2016 on another server somehow hosed my production? If so, any quick fixes on recovery? I have a call open with support, but maybe someone here has a quick and dirty solution.
