SSRS Label prints condensed

We went BarTender, SSRS though do-able, isn’t the right solution in my opinion for labels.

I know this is an old thread, but it seems to keep popping up. I was able to get the labels to print properly on my 4x6 Zebra label printer by doing the following:

  1. Edit the MtlTags report in Microsoft Report Designer and delete the whole right hand column of data (the report is a double one, presumably to print 2 labels side by side on an 8.5x11 paper).
  2. Open the Properties tab and scroll down to Page size field.
  3. Change the page size to 4in, 6in.
  4. Mouse over the right edge of the white area until the double arrow appears and then click and drag the white area to the left until it touches the rectangles.
  5. Repeat step 4 but this time dragging the bottom up until it touches the rectangles.
  6. Save and publish.
  7. If you are using a network printer follow these steps to set it up: Let's talk about SSP (server-side printing)
  8. Set your network printer settings to be: Paper height: 600, Paper width: 400, Margins: 0

Good point. I was thinking to write up a post about this as I don’t use Bartender. User can print directly from Kinetic and also from Epicor Kinetic Warehouse. One point to note is the Paper size in Epicor is in inch and is multiplied by 100. Those values should be coming from the print driver. If the settings are not right, change the printer settings, try not to adjust the settings in Epicor.
