Thanks @Mark_Wonsil . I’ve read the topic that was recently posted here. Trying to wrap my head around epicor functions. Do you see any other benefits in this senario?
Some background:
I am implementing an automated system at a very small organization (~20 people, ~5 who interact with Epicor regularly), so I am trying to consider the cost/benefit of introducing extra complexity/configuration into Epicor that needs to be maintained etc… I may be implementing up to 10 UD tables / resources in the near future. In all cases these resources are very simple (one or two Keys, a few fields, resources are only consumed by one instance of an application, very limited tie in to other Epicor features). This data was stored in a local database but an effort is being made to consolidate data. As cool as they sound, I am hesitant to add maintenance of 10 Epicor Functions to the mix, any advice or words of encouragement?
