I only see Request Move Checkbox on the MES/Data Collection stations when reporting/ending activityā¦ it is; however, directly related to the āAuto Moveā checkbox on both the Resource Group and Resources under each Resouce Group.
You can use āMove Material Requestā and āMove Materialā to process/examine requests. We donāt use these; however, as we are set to āauto moveā right now. I believe you can request moves from Inspections as wellā¦ not sure - not currently using, it but I think I remember it there somewhereā¦
FWIW
Seems like an annoying list to make. I think it shows up in a lot of places where inventory is moving around.
It exists in Nonconformance, Inspection Processing, DMR Processing, for example.
Maybe AI can make a comprehensive list.
Maybe i should have said, which ones are defaulted to True?
If youād like to default it to checked on or off,
itās attached to the āAuto moveā check box in āResource Detailsā and can be set up per resource group.
ie, youād like a certain resource group to auto receipt into inventory when qty reported instead of having to use the material que.
Hope that helps!
I have seen this mentioned twice in this thread but I do not think this is accurate.
Auto-Move set to TRUE automatically moves WIP quantity from the output bin of the reporting resource to the input BIN of the next scheduled resource/operation on the job.
Checking the āRequest Moveā checkbox will generate a move request in the MRQ to have something moved from one inventory location to another.
Correct, but for some reason the āautomoveā check box on the resource details tab also controls if request to move is default checked off or not.
Try it in test
if the end goal here is to set the default status of that checkbox when a specific screen is pulled up, I would go this route:
Thats the route i have taken, i was just wondering if anyone knew which ones were defaulted to true as standard so i can attack those.
I donāt have a list, sorry. Iām not even sure how many screens utilize it.
Maybe start with the different transaction types of the move requests you have in your MRQ and work back to the screens they could have came from?
Thats not a problem.
This will be a new system with AMM in so currently there are no transactions to check against.
