Referencing Core .NET DLLs in customization

Jim,

Thank you for the suggestion. I was hoping since it is already
on all the PCs, that there was a way to reference it without
recopying it into all the client directories.

Thanks,
Is there a way to reference core .NET dlls in a screen customization in E10? I am trying to parse a variable in the web.config file so was trying to reference System.Configuration but cannot figure out how to add the reference. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Tanner

You may need to copy it into the Epicor Client folder and then you can reference it like any of the Epicor Assemblies.

This means you would need to do this for all Epicor users so they have a copy in their client directory.

There is a way to do this automatically as part of an upgrade/patch process. Someone else would need to walk you through that.
