PO's connected to a SO

Thanks for the suggestion, Rick!

We have been using your first method up until now. We are at the point that
our SO's contain too many PO's for a person to timephase through it. You
guys are one step ahead of me, my next plan was to try to use a VB field....

Anybody know of an alternative?

Paul

The first way is by reviewing the time phase for the part (either report
form or through part tracker). But of course, you have to know the part
number, or you can right click on the part in the PO entry screen and open
it with part tracker or click part tracker button in the order entry screen
or click the part button in the order tracker screen, then click the time
phase button.

We have come up with a somewhat more direct solution on linking them, but I
hope someone else out here has a better solution, but I will offer the best
one we have come up with.

Using a user field or VBForm field, you can manually type in the referenced
SO. This becomes visible within the system from the PO side only. You can
then also create reports that correlate the two.

Like I said, not a great solution, but it affords some benefit.

Does anybody know if there is an easy way in 4.0 to see which PO's have been
created for an SO?

TIA,

Paul

We no longer allow attachments to files. To access/share Report Files,
please go to the following link: http://www.egroups.com/files/vantage/
(Note: If this link does not work for you the first time you try it, go to
www.egroups.com, login and be sure to save your password, choose My Groups,
choose Vantage, then choose Files. If you save the password, the link above
will work the next time you try it.)
