I had the same situation here a few months ago and had to update my Cisco router to route the new set of addresses (my ISP, UUNET, helped me setup the router), then on the client put the default gateway as the router. They started working fine then.

IIRC, there is some option in the client setup like "use dynamic name
resolution." Perhaps that hard codes an IP address somewhere
(vantage.ini?) rather than use name lookup?
