Well we went live with Windows 2003 on all servers over the weekend -
Removing our NT4 offline
Can't say enuf good about W2K3 Server!
I can tell you tho whatever you do, get yourself a backup domain controller
configured in the mess
We got 99% up and running and we were ready to go home when I put our other
mirrored drives back in the set and all heck broke loose
We lost everything
We were able to restore active directory thru our backup domain
It was a long weekend but we were back up and running pretty quickly
I have another question about redirecting shares but I will post that to
another message soon.
So the moral of the story, redundancy is so cheap these days, DO IT! You
will save your sanity!
