OMG…Found it…This feels really strange but it helped me understand some things.
Sharing in case it benefits someone else…
there were 3 method directives (see pic),
but these are not all run/enabled, 2 were prior versions and 1 was the new version,
we just kept the prior versions around and disable them (more below)
One of them did not have the group assigned, so depending on how you search for the method directive when opening the form (see next pic) you wouldn’t see it.
I had been using “Search by Directive”, picking a group, the method that wasn’t in the group didn’t show up when you get back to the form. If you “Search by Service” all 3 show up regardless of group. So I wasn’t even aware it existed and of course it happened to still be enabled and was missing the new parameter. So I had 2 enabled, 1 that was causing the error, and 1 that was fine…Arghh !!
Anyway…No More “Search by Directives” for me.
