We just wondered about this behavior in Epicor:
When copying an Asm into another Method, the Make Direct flag for just the main assembly gets preserved. All of the subassemblies on the copied assembly lose the Make Direct setting… Is this normal? I would expect the Asm to get copied over with all details.

Just curious what entry form/steps.
FYI…
when I manually create a new job for a part in job entry
then get details from some other, source job
and that source job includes assemblies where make direct is selected
in the new, target job, all the make direct checkboxes are cleared for the assemblies.
I’m not sure if that is by design… or not.
