GLJournalEntrySvc - Update - "The GL Journal Entry Header record cannot be found"

Hi

Outside of Epicor (via Excel and ExcelDNS, EpicorRESTAPI) I am trying to create and load journal entries.

  1. Create the Group.
  2. Create the GL Journal Header via GetNewGlJrnHedTran, PreUpdate and Update - no errors.
  3. Create the GL Journal Mnl Dtl via GetNewGLJrnDtlMnl with the header details from above and line details but I keep getting “The GL Journal Entry Header record cannot be found.”

I can load AR invoices, post and create Cash Receipts happily enough but GL eludes me.

I do note an old post from 2011 around this error but nothing seems relevant to now.

Any ideas on what I might be missing?
