Export time and attendance data for ADP payroll

Thanks for the info Patty! We currently uses ADP PC Payroll in
conjuction with ADP EZLabor and rented time clocks from ADP. PC
Payroll is installed on the HR guy's computer and we were able to
find the CSV file that is used when he runs payroll that has columns
for File#, Reg Hours, O/T Hours, Hours 4 Code, and Hours 4 Amount.
The Hours 4 Code column contains fields that have a letter in it that
stand for either Vacation, Holiday, Personal, Excused, or Other. I
was going to try to emulate this output using a Crystal Report in
Vantage, but it sounds like the ADP Interface may do this for me.

Thanks again,

Hi,

We are currently in the process of implementing MES 8.03 to replace our
time clocks. We use ADP to process payroll so I am looking for any
help in getting the data out of Vantage and into a format to be
imported into ADP PC Payroll. I'm sure someone has already created a
BAQ and/or Crystal report that would accomplish this task. If you
would like to share or if you have any pointers or experiences that
would be helpful please post.

Epicor does sell (as a mod) an interface that dumps a .csv file for ADP
to import. It pretty much calculates Regular, OT and a 3rd bucket of
hours. We have the third bucket of hours for Holiday since that is a
constant. All other time (vacation, berevement, etc) is entered
manually in ADP.

I confirmed they do not intend to write this as an 'addon' module once
9.0 comes out. So the cost of the mod and mod upgrades is what you
would need to determine if it is worth it.

We have it for SQL and it works pretty good.

Which ADP PC Payroll are you using? Any chance its Easy Pay?
I have three crystal reports for v5.2 which are very helpful in automating
entry into Easy Pay with Macro Express help.
First report, helps review an individual's hours. Second, condensed version
for "the file." Finally, csv for automated entry.

I can upload if interested.
David

Thanks for the response David. I checked with the HR guy and he said
it is just ADP PC/Payroll, but it is version 5.2. I would be very
interested in the reports that you have created if you wouldn't mind
uploading.
