We recently move to ESET for our endpoint protection software, and ESET File Security is installed on our Epicor App server as well as the SQL DB server.
Post-install, our nightly MRP Regen process execution time has ballooned from about 2.5 hours to nearly 6 hours. ESET File security automatically adds exclusions for SQL, and I added exclusions to the Epicor program/data directories and website directories. However, this did not help. I even disabled Real-Time protection without seeing any improvement.
I’m currently uninstalling ESET to validate that it is in fact the culprit. Has anyone seen performance issues with Epicor after installing ESET, and if so would you be willing to share what exclusions/settings you’ve used to address the issues?
