I received an email from a company that stated Epicor recent cut its cloud hosting options and locked customers out. SI this true? Anyone been affected? TO me this seems more sales oriented and maybe skewing the facts.
Not that I heard of. In fact, they just added multi-region support so you can have a company in Germany and in the US and they would talk to each other with Azure Service Bus (multi-company with multiple installations). Three years ago, they stopped selling Multi-Tennant (MT) but Public Cloud is the replacement for that. I certainly haven’t heard about any “locking customers out.”
I’d like to hear more details - like the company name.
