Dashboard Shortcut - Launch from Desktop

Hi all,

I would like to create a shortcut in the desktop that launches a dashboard.

I tried following this instruction below but it doesn’t launch the final deployed dashboard, but instead launches the preview version…if that makes sense?
What bothers me is that the “Expand group” and “export to excel” functions are not present.

Here is the target I have in the shortcut:
C:\Epico…\Epicor.exe /config=EpicorERP.sysconfig /db /d=“Dashboard_name”

Try it without the quotes around the dashboard name.

I believe it changed for E10. Go to an EPICOR standard window like job tracker, then got to actions and check the export to file or something like that and that will create the shortcut for that. I guess that will help you get into the right path.

I guess you have selected Run time dashboard as Program Type in Menu Maintenance instead of Assembly Type.

Hi @Zoher_Ali, yes that’s what has happened. Do you know how to create a desktop shortcut for a Dashboard Assembly type?
