Configurator not picking up latest code changes when re-configuring existing lines in Quote or Order

FYI for anyone coming to this later, did find the topic where I got that baq from. Worth reading to understand what the verify does and doesn’t do. Also to give credit to who created this baq to begin with.

Does updating a configurator break existing configurations?

Each time we update an configurator, all existing sales orders have to be reconfigured, or the jobs come out with no operations and no materials. Is this expected behavior? If so, how do you guys manage the headache it causes to update configurators? Management wants a rapid development cycle for the configurators, but it causes sales and production pain each time we make a small change.
