Backup Reports on Saas

I’m not entirely sure. I am on-prem but helping a SaaS user - I’m like oh this will be easy. Sure enough, Solution Workbench doesn’t exist.

Prevent Excel format SSRS update when changing PDF format

The goal is simple: Prevent the Excel Data Only (EDO) format RDL file from being auto-updated whenever there’s a change to the PDF format RDL. My current workaround is to save a copy of the EDO format RDL file so that when it happens, I can recover easily. But why does it do it in the first place? Is it hard coded somewhere?
