I also got the same issue today. As per @Kimberley 's suggestion removed old config file (backed up) and re-launched admin console and registered DB Server. All works fine. Then
@Bart_Elia, when I checked my back up config file, it was blank that’s why the error.
As I can see in the thread it might be a version issue in case of an upgrade.
You know whats interesting, is this still continues to be a problem up to E10.2.400.25. I’ve now had my 3rd customer that this same issue happened since E10.2 first released. During the upgrade process of the Admin Console two of the customers AdminConsole folder got completely deleted. Luckily I had made a backup of those files. The 3rd customer was also upgrading to E10.2.400.25 and during the AdminConsole update the XML files got corrupted some how.
